• Dan, a major transportation company in Tel Aviv, Israel, is the second public operator who decided to introduce the Chariot e-bus in commercial operations.
  • 5 Chariot e-buses commenced exclusive commercial on Line 4 operation on 15th September 2016.
  • The project features the more advanced Siemens permanent electric motor, with higher torque and higher efficiency.
  • Line 4, one of Tel Aviv’s busiest lines, is connecting the Central Station in South Tel Aviv to Reading Terminal – North Tel Aviv.  The line has a total one-way length of 15 kilometres and 32 bus-stops.
  • The line is equipped with two 150 kW AC/DC charging stations, each located at one of the terminals.
  • The Chariot e-buses service passengers 14 hours per day.
  • Dan decided to purchase and operate another 21 Chariot e-buses with 32kWh ultracapacitors, expected to commence operations as of October 2017.
