A 25 February 2016 contract between Holding Graz and Chariot Motors paves the way to Graz switching to non-fossil-fuel buses. The Chariot Motors Company provides Holding Graz with two e-buses and chargers for a yearlong pilot project. Graz Linien will test the new generation 32kWh ultracapacitor Chariot e-bus with ZF wheel hub electric motors.
“Holding Graz will pay for power connections, power, and bus stop works,” said Holding Graz board members Barbara Muhr and Wolfgang Malik when launching the project which has attracted attention across Europe.
