From June 9 to 11, the town of Razlog hosted the Third National Conference “Urban Mobility NEXT 2026”, organized by the Bulgarian Association for Parking and Sustainable Urban Mobility. The event brought together representatives from local government, businesses, and the technology sector.
During the specialized forum dedicated to sustainable urban mobility and intelligent transport solutions, Chariot Motors representative Ivan Shterev delivered a presentation focusing on the role of electric public transport in the development of modern cities.
In his presentation, he introduced the company’s technological solutions and highlighted the two main types of electric buses in Chariot’s product portfolio: battery-electric models and buses powered by ultracapacitor technology. Particular attention was given to the ultracapacitor electric buses’ ability to recharge within just 5 to 8 minutes, a solution that enables greater operational efficiency and continuous service in urban environments.
Ivan Shterev emphasized that public transport is one of the key drivers of sustainable urban development and that the deployment of electric buses contributes to reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, and decreasing road traffic congestion. Projects implemented by the company in various European cities, including Sofia, Gabrovo, Belgrade, and others, already demonstrate these benefits in practice.
Chariot Motors’ presentation attracted considerable interest among forum participants by showcasing the company’s innovative solutions for modernizing public transport and supporting the transition toward greener and more sustainable urban mobility.
During the forum, representatives from the public sector and the business community discussed current topics such as transport electrification, cybersecurity, and the intelligent management of urban infrastructure. Chariot Motors stood out with its practical experience and innovative approach in the field of electric mobility.
